CHALLENGING RACISM WITH POETRY

During our workshop in the public school CIEP Charles Chaplin located in Duque de Caxias (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil), the 18-year-old student Selma Moreira wrote a poem to challenge racism.

“We’re all different but at the same time we’re equal”- she says.

Watch the video to see how students can break the vicious circle of hate that has been accelerated by the internet.

We can also discuss extremism in your institution and help empower your students to lead change. Send us an email: info@wordshealtheworld.com
